15. Henry Dyer
In 1886 Henry Dyer arrived to Landsborough as a butcher. He took license of the Mellum Club hotel in 1889 until 1912, built a butcher shop, the first town hall, a store, and a noteworthy residence.
Furthermore, he owned the refreshment room at the train station and the main sawmill in town which connected to the railway line.
16. Isaac Burgess
Isaac Burgess was the first European settler of this area having bought land from the government in 1877. Much of his land became part of modern-day Landsborough. Also, he was the builder of the first hotel and store.

17. William Landsborough
William Landsborough was an early explorer who owned land in the area at Caloundra. The town was named after him, being renamed from Mellum Creek.
18. John Tytherleigh
John Tytherleigh was the first Chairman of Landsborough Shire in 1912.
He was a businessman, owning the Tytherleigh General Store, which he moved from Gympie Road to Cribb Street in 1914/1915.
