Have your Sunshine Coast photograph featured in The Night Sky exhibition

Have you captured a stunning photo of the night sky from your backyard or favourite spot on the Sunshine Coast?
As part of The Night Sky: Our shared darkness exhibition, we're inviting local residents to submit their photographs for a chance to be featured in a digital display.
Whether you're an experienced astrophotographer or simply enjoy taking photos of the stars, we'd love to see your view of the night sky. From the Milky Way and star-filled skies to moonlit landscapes, selected images will help showcase the beauty and diversity of the Sunshine Coast's night skies.

To be considered for display, please submit:
- High-resolution landscape images
- Minimum size: 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Images must be jpeg, jpg, png or gif format only
- Your name, date the photo was taken and Sunshine Coast location
- A short description of the photo, if known (e.g. Southern Cross, Venus, Milky Way, Moonrise)
How to submit
Email your photo submission to Cultural Heritage Services by Friday 18 September 2026.
