Join acclaimed chairmaker and researcher Dr Mike Epworth for a fascinating artist talk about Local Ground, the latest exhibition at Bankfoot House.
Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, Dr Epworth will explore the work of William Andrew Grigor and reveal how historic furniture continues to inspire makers today.
Learn about the research, design and making process, and discover how furniture can tell powerful stories about local history, people and place. There will also be an opportunity to ask Dr Epworth questions during an interactive Q&A.
Afterwards, explore the exhibition, featuring newly crafted work alongside pieces from the Bankfoot House collection, and enjoy a guided tour of the historic house.
