Whether you're a seasoned surfer or simply want to immerse yourself in the surf culture, there's something for everyone at this ultimate beach gathering, including a movie screening under the stars.

The free all-ages event is supported by Sunshine Coast Council through the Major Grants March 2024 program, and will be held at the picturesque Kings Beach Amphitheatre on June 29 from 2pm to 8pm.

Hosted by the passionate and fun-loving Caloundra Malibu Club, this event is all about celebrating the art of riding the waves and enjoying the good times that come with it.

The event will feature a board swap and sell, and there will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes up for grabs!

For those seeking deeper insights and conversations about surfing, the "let's chat" surfing talks will provide a platform for sharing stories and experiences.

The surfing memorabilia display will feature vintage surfboards to locals sharing their photographs and relics - taking you on a journey through the evolution of surfing on the Sunshine Coast.

As the sun sets, get ready to groove to the rhythmic tunes of Bohemian Rogue, who will be providing live music throughout the event.

Local food vendors will be offering their selection of culinary delights - from pizzas at Harrys Bistro, fresh bagels at Kings Beach Convenience Store to pasta at Dom's On Kings and fish and chips from Yeti.

For the perfect end to an epic day of surfing chats, settle in under the starry skies for two captivating movies. "Morning of the Earth" and "Children of the Sun" will transport you to far-off destinations, where the waves meet the horizon and surfers chase their dreams.
