Eumundi unites for Buy Local Day

The Eumundi Chamber of Commerce and Experience Eumundi have partnered with Sunshine Coast Council and Buy Local Sunshine Coast to showcase Eumundi as the ultimate destination for buying local.

President of the Eumundi Chamber of Commerce Cindy Suters encouraged all businesses to get involved. 

"We're calling on all our amazing businesses and local traders to get involved and showcase why Eumundi is so unique and special," Mrs Suters said.  

"This is such an exciting opportunity for our vibrant business community.

"Buy Local Day will put Eumundi well and truly on the map as a must-visit for locals and visitors alike."

The region-wide event on Saturday June 22, aims to draw special attention to local independent shops and our community is asked to look out for a range of special incentives.

Located in a heritage-listed bank, Eumundi and Co. is refreshingly unique and lovingly stocked full of original gift ideas. 

Eumundi and Co. owner Kate Houghton said Buy Local Day helped support local families.

Eumundi Coffee Roasters will be hosting a free tasting of their house roasted coffee blends from 10.00-11:30am on Buy Local Day.

Thomas Rumble, Coffee Director at Eumundi Coffee Roasters encouraged the community to take part in the celebration.

“Supporting local is one of the best ways you can bring life back into small towns", Mr Rumble said.

“Come in and say hi to our friendly team of baristas. Grab a coffee and try out our amazing blends of coffee beans all roasted right here in Eumundi.”
