Mapleton Lilyponds Park, Mapleton  

Located in the tranquil town of Mapleton, the Lilyponds Park is a delightful family park for an Easter egg hunt. It features a network of walking trails that meander through a landscape adorned with serene lily-covered ponds, creating a picturesque setting for picnics and relaxation. The park's rich biodiversity, including native birdlife and unique plant species, provides nature enthusiasts with an opportunity for delightful exploration.

This park includes a playground, flying fox, fenced off-leash dog park, barbecue facilities and a large, grassed area so is sure to be the perfect place for the whole family.

Clarke Place Park, Happy Valley

Known to locals as Happy Valley Park, Clarke Place Park offers a serene coastal setting for your Easter celebrations.

Situated along one of the Coast’s most popular family-friendly beaches, Clarke Place Park offers ocean views, adventure and plenty to keep the family entertained.

Create an Easter egg hunt amongst the lighthouse playground or along the open grassy space beneath the pine trees. Stay and enjoy a barbecue or picnic and take advantage of all the things this much-loved waterfront park has to offer. Meander along the Coastal Pathway, splash and build sandcastles along the foreshore or play a game of cricket on the grass.

Russell Family Park, Montville

This hinterland favourite will have the kids hopping for joy! Russell Family Park is a place that actively connects park-goers to their environment – giving children the opportunity to explore the outdoors and build on their social skills. There’s a dry creek bed, rock seating walls, and interweaving pathways for children to explore.

Russell Family Park is located in Montville only a short stroll to the popular main street cafes and shops. This newly developed park is the perfect place for families, friends and visitors to enjoy all year round.

It includes an exhilarating 10-metre super slide, climbing tower, flying fox and swing. Plus, the park offers lots of opportunity for play in a natural setting, with large grassy hills, mature trees, an environmental walk, and a range of wildlife for children to experience.

Nelson Park, Alexandra Headland 

Host an Easter egg hunt at Nelson Park at Alexandra Headland and let the little ones egg-splore the network of shaded pathways surrounding the lake, which is teaming with wildlife. The playground is fully fenced and has many accessible play opportunities.

The playground includes a wheelchair accessible fort structure, swings, sand play table, small boat and play hut.  The fort structure includes many different interactive play elements including, play panels, musical equipment, slides, hammock swings and talk tubes. 

Within the fenced play space there is plenty of shade with large shade sails, picnic shelters, barbecues and mature trees.
