Landsborough Museum access during rail works

Landsborough Museum will remain open and accessible during upcoming rail works in Landsborough.

From 6am Saturday 24 October until 6pm Wednesday 28 October, the Caloundra Street level crossing will be temporarily closed. Visitors can still access the museum via alternative routes; however, some journeys may take longer than usual.

By car

If you're travelling through Landsborough, use the alternate level crossing near Landsborough State School and follow local detour signs to the town centre and museum.

If you're travelling from Brisbane, consider accessing Landsborough via Old Landsborough Road or Old Gympie Road to avoid delays around the closed crossing.

By train

The museum remains accessible by public transport during the works period. However, Landsborough Station is expected to be serviced by replacement buses, so please allow extra travel time.

Once in Landsborough, the Museum is a short walk from the station.
