The Caloundra Family History Research Group welcomes new members and visitors and actively encourages and assists members in their worldwide research of genealogy and family history. Many members also maintain an active interest in local Caloundra and Hinterland history.
The rooms offer a selection of computers with quick internet connection, scanners, Microfiche as well as many books and journals.
Enjoy a comprehensive lending library and monthly interest groups covering Resources, Scottish, Welsh, English, German, DNA, Family Tree Maker and Writing Topics - also an affiliated FamilySearch Library. Join our War Stories project where we select an ancestor who fought in a War and write their story which will be published in a book in time for Remembrance Day 2024.
Monthly guest speakers present topics either in our rooms or via Zoom and visitors or potential new members are invited to attend.
