Landsborough Museum Collection

The Museum’s collection is historically significant for its representation of the wider story of the Sunshine Coast and Queensland.

With research and interpretation in the areas of exploration and the development of primary, secondary and tertiary industries; development of local government, transport and communication; the timber and dairy industry; soldier settlement; communications; printing and the press; weddings and christenings; Mrs Woodley’s crocheting; and coastal development.

The collection database records 4,918 objects; 19,616 images; 7,198 publications; 1,326 periodicals; cemetery records for 13 local cemeteries containing 5,350 names.
