Fridays @ Bankfoot House (F@BH) are a series of workshops, talks and events held in the Mary Grigor Centre on the first Friday of every month.

Fridays @ Bankfoot House - Family research

Join Niles Elvery; Senior Archivist at Queensland State Archives at the inaugural F@BH session. This session will be a must for all family research enthusiasts! Niles will explore family research and genealogy and provide tips and tricks on how to access your family’s records. View the current exhibition Chips off the old block; The Grigor Children and enjoy a guided tour of Bankfoot House.

Fridays @ Bankfoot House - International Women's Day

Celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 at Bankfoot House as we present stories of the women of Bankfoot House. Guest speaker Dr Amy Clarke; Senior Lecturer in History at University Sunshine Coast will deliver talks exploring the International Women’s day theme for 2021; #Choose to Challenge. Guided tours of the house will be available and guests can view the exhibition in the Mary Grigor Centre.

Fridays @ Bankfoot House - Cooking up a storm: Jams and preserves

Take part in a hands-on workshop and learn how to make Jams and Preserves with Martin Duncan aka The Sunshine Coast Foodie. A selection of objects from the Bankfoot House collection will be on display such as early Fowler’s Preserving ware and an assortment of family recipes. Guided tours of the house will be available.
