Mulch and crushed concrete sales
Council offers free coarse mulch at all waste facilities where available (refer to table below). This is available to all Sunshine Coast residential and commercial customers. Fine mulch is available for purchase from Buderim and Caloundra waste facilities only.
Crushed concrete is available for purchase from Buderim and Caloundra waste facilities only.
Mulch and concrete products are produced from incoming waste - garden waste and concrete and masonry wastes. Council crushes and grinds these wastes with the goal to recycle the materials and avoid disposal to landfill. Customers are welcome to visit the sites to inspect and check if these recycled materials meet your expectations and suit your purpose...
Mulch prices
Buderim and Caloundra
Coarse 100mm mulch: Free at Buderim and Caloundra sites with maximum quantity 100m³ to all Sunshine Coast residential and commercial customers. Loaded free if machine is available.
Fine 50mm mulch: $10.00 per cubic metre loaded (incl. GST). Buderim and Caloundra waste facilities only.
- Up to a maximum loading height of 2.4m from the ground.
Nambour
Course 100mm mulch: Free at Nambour with a maximum quantity 5m³ per day limit to all Sunshine Coast residential and commercial customers. Maximum registered GVM of 4.5 tonnes for vehicles collecting mulch at Nambour.
Rural sites - Beerwah, Mapleton and Witta
Coarse 100mm mulch: Free at above rural sites only with no maximum quantity limit to all Sunshine Coast Residential and commercial customers. Loaded free if machine is available.
- Beerwah and Witta sites can load vehicles up to a maximum loading height of 2.4m from the ground
- Mapleton can load vehicles up to a maximum loading height of 1.8m from the ground.

Crushed concrete prices
- Crushed concrete - 20mm minus - minimum 0.5 cubic metre - $16.00 per cubic metre loaded (Inc. GST)
- Crushed concrete - 40mm - minimum 0.5 cubic metre - $16.00 per cubic metre loaded (Inc. GST)
- Crushed concrete - 80mm - minimum 0.5 cubic metre - $16.00 per cubic metre loaded (Inc. GST)

The tables below provide information about the availability of mulch and crushed concrete at each of council's waste facilities. Both standard coarse mulch and fine mulch will be offered when stock is available. The table is updated Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays)...
