Bankfoot House pioneer play
If you are looking for something fun and free to do with the kids this summer, why not take them to Bankfoot House and see what life was like for our pioneers. Learn to turn cream into butter, wash clothes with muscle power, and how to make your own fun without any screens. Workshops are hands-on and can be followed by wooden games played on the 2-acre property. Caregivers are welcome to free tea and coffee and a spectacular mountain view.

Base Zero mobile rock climbing – Challenge accepted!
Looking for a fun, inclusive, and free activity that gets everyone moving? Base Zero’s mobile rock climbing wall brings high-energy excitement to your event, with expert climbers creating a safe and supportive space for kids, teens, and adults to test their skills—no experience needed.
With specially designed routes for all ability levels, up to 80 climbers per hour can enjoy the thrill of scaling new heights. Whether it is your first time in a harness or you are a seasoned climber, there’s a challenge waiting for you. Just turn up and climb!
After your climb, head inside the museum to explore a special exhibition on the history of rock climbing on the Sunshine Coast.
