Interviews with: Errol James (Jim) McGilchrist

Jim was born and grew up at Eudlo. He talks about the establishment of the Eudlo provisional school with his mother being a teacher at the school. He talks about growing up and working on the family farm growing bananas, strawberries and pineapples. Jim also served almost 6 years in the Australian Imperial Forces (A.I.F.) during World War II and attained the rank of Lieutenant. He also talks about the Committee of Direction (COD) for fruitgrowers and the Golden Circle Cannery. Also he talks about being an original member of the Maroochy Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and being one of the first growers of citrus in the area.
