  • The Drama Merchant presents - Little Women

    Celebrate Mother’s Day at Bankfoot House as The Drama Merchant returns with The Radioplay Hours production of the famous novel by Louisa May Alcott - Little Women. The Radio Play Hour is a retro audio adventure that transports audiences back to a time when radio was the heart of family life. A fun interactive performance with audience participation.

  • Cobb and Co Museum - Heritage trades

    Join the team from Cobb and Co Museum Toowoomba as they lead a conversation on Heritage Trades and how they were necessary to keep coaching alive. Artisan Andrew MacDonald will present a hands-on demonstration on creating stick furniture in colonial times. Guided tours of the house will be available.

  • First Nations School Holiday Program

    The Cultural Heritage Services team are proud to collaborate with Sunshine Coast Libraries and Caloundra Regional Art Gallery to celebrate NAIDOC week 2021 with the First Nations School Holiday Program. A free, fun, hands-on and educational day where children will learn stories of local First Nations groups. Join a Boomerang and clap stick making workshop, learn First Nations dances as well as other games and activities. Food vans and refreshments available on site or pack a picnic lunch.

  • William Smith Burgess Bill Spikes - Curators floor talk

    Imagine keeping your bills for 50 years! William Smith Burgess did and what a legacy he has left.  Let Curators; Carita Robinson and Gabriella McLay share with you the stories they discovered about William Smith, Bankfoot House and the local region when the undertook research on the Bill Spikes. A special guided tour of Bankfoot House Heritage Precinct focused on the life of William Smith Burgess will follow.
