The Bill Spikes; daily life of W.S. Burgess exhibition
From 1902 until his death in 1946, William Smith Burgess, kept a remarkable account of daily life at Bankfoot House. Along with his diaries, he maintained four bill spikes, amassing over 1900 documents.
