Bankfoot House Heritage Precinct

Be part of preserving one of the most significant state heritage-listed precincts on the Sunshine Coast. Nestled among the Glass House Mountains, Bankfoot House was built in 1868 in time to greet the first Cobb & Co coach on its way from Brisbane to Gympie Gold Fields. The house remained in the same family for three generations accounting for 134 years. The precinct is a time capsule with an intact collection that represents the ingenuity, resourcefulness and resilience from early pioneers through to timber getting and farming.

Location: 1998 Old Gympie Road, Glass House Mountains.
