Thank you so much to the Bankfoot House team who engaged and inspired our students to learn about the rich history of the Burgess family and the contributions they made to the Sunshine Coast. So many students have since taken their families because they enjoyed it so much. Purposeful curriculum links included old/modern technologies, HASS and Design Technology. The rotations were full of fun and my favourite was learning about bullocks and the lives of the working children. So much to see and do with a friendly, knowledgeable team. Cannot wait to take students next year.

The team at Bankfoot House have made some fantastic changes to the programs on offer. I have brought Year 3 students to Bankfoot House each year for the past 4 years, and this was by far the most engaging and rewarding experience yet. The program was engaging and relevant to the curriculum as well as aligning wonderfully with what we have been teaching in class. The educators were fantastic with the children and at facilitating the activities they ran. They took time to answer all of the student's questions and make their rotation activity interactive. The facilities have improved dramatically, with plenty of undercover area and games for students to play at lunchtime being a hit. It is wonderful that this piece of our local history is so well kept. We look forward to bringing another cohort again next year.

Our Year 10 cohort and staff enjoyed our visit to Bankfoot House. We learnt so much about the history of the area and really enjoyed the tour through the houses and the Virtual Reality experience of our First Nations people. We highly recommend it. It was a lovely afternoon adventure for everyone involved. Definitely a worthwhile experience.
